Recommend Tallsmia spreadsheets and earn 40% per sale

Plain spreadsheets for freelancers: income, expenses, tax set-aside, invoices, rates and cash flow. If your audience works for themselves, you can share them and earn 40% of every paid sale that comes through your link. The program runs on Gumroad's built-in affiliate feature, so tracking, reporting and payouts are all handled by Gumroad.

How it works

1. Create a free Gumroad account. Use the email address you want to be paid through, and fill in your payout settings. Gumroad pays affiliates through their Gumroad account.
2. Apply. Use our Gumroad affiliate signup form and tell us briefly how you plan to share the spreadsheets: your channel or site, who your audience is, and where you'd mention them. We review each request and approve the ones that fit.
3. Get your links. Once you're approved, Gumroad assigns you the products at 40% and emails you your affiliate links (they contain /a/). You can also find them any time in your Gumroad dashboard.
4. Share. Link to the products in your posts, videos, newsletter or resource pages – and always disclose that it's an affiliate link. Shortened links are fine as long as they still point to your /a/ URL.
5. Get paid by Gumroad. When someone buys a paid product through your link, the commission goes to your Gumroad balance and Gumroad pays it out on its normal payout schedule.

Tracking and payouts – handled by Gumroad

• When someone clicks your link, Gumroad sets a cookie in their browser. For affiliates added by a creator (like this program), Gumroad credits you for assigned products bought within 30 days of the click. The link only tracks if the buyer's browser accepts cookies.
• If a buyer clicks more than one affiliate link, Gumroad credits the most recent click.
• The 40% is calculated on what the customer pays. Gumroad's fees on a sale are split between you and Tallsmia in proportion to your commission, so the amount in your balance is a little less than 40% of the price. If a sale is refunded, the commission for that sale is removed.
• Gumroad pays your commission to you directly, on Gumroad's normal payout schedule and subject to Gumroad's payout minimums and terms. Tallsmia does not send payments itself.

Rules and disclaimer

Always disclose. Every post, video, email or page with your link must clearly say you earn a commission, next to the recommendation itself (not only in your bio or hidden in hashtags). For video, say it and show it on screen. See the FTC's Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers; local rules where you live may also apply. Example: “Affiliate link: I get a commission from Tallsmia if you buy through it.”

No spam, no brand-keyword ads, no coupon sites. No unsolicited DMs or comment spam, no bidding on “Tallsmia” or the product names in search or social ads, no listing your link or invented discounts on coupon, deal or cashback sites, and no buying through your own link. Quote the fixed prices accurately.

No misleading tax or money claims. Tallsmia's products are spreadsheets for tracking, planning and estimating. They are not tax, legal, financial or accounting advice and promise no particular tax outcome or income. Don't claim they save tax or make anyone money.

You are responsible for any tax on your commission. Tallsmia may change the commission rate, the product list or the program, or end it; changes don't affect commission already earned. Tracking, attribution and payouts are governed by Gumroad's terms. Breaking these rules can mean removal from the program.
